About Us

Habari!

First of all, I cannot thank you enough for taking your time to land on my website and read about my life. I am David Mahunda, born and raised up in a small village between Serengeti and Lake Victoria, to parents who were farmers. With a constant struggle to just make ends meet, my parents barely managed to send me to school. While I loved going to school, my dream was always to become a wildlife conservator. This stemmed from the fact that my entire childhood was practically filled with several different animals in my neighborhood.

As fate would have it, I couldn’t complete my schooling due to the dire financial situation at home. Eventually, I resorted to working from a very early age in order to fend for my family. When my job hardly gave my any kind of satisfaction, I promised myself that I would achieve my true potential very soon.

My first break in life came In 2008, when I was offered a job as a safari guide by a tour company. I was united with what I loved the most - wildlife! I loved my job so much that I could spot a bird in a bush more than a 100 meters away, giving me a fond title “Bushman” David. Although my earnings as a tour guide weren’t great, I thoroughly loved my job.

All that came to a screeching halt when the pandemic hit us in 2020. My dream run seemed to have hit a hard wall. I was broke and was scrambling to make ends meet for my wife and three children. When I felt like all hope was lost, I had the backing of my family and friends, who never stopped believing in me.

“For every dark night there is a brighter day ahead”

With their help, here I am, back to doing what I love. But this time, I took it a step further by launching my own Safari Tourism. For all the hardships that I had to go through, I have pledged my support to empowering and helping youths by providing them education and employment. By supporting my company, you not only support me, but the lives of several aspiring youths who want to make it big in their careers.

I would like to sincerely appreciate all who have made it possible for me to achieve my goals in life. Now, it is my turn to give something back to the society.

Asante!
